Support Becky's Campaign!
I’m so glad you’re interested in supporting this campaign, which sends wheelchairs to disabled children and adults around the world. There are countless people with disabilities that live in impoverished conditions and they simply do not have money for a wheelchair.
But I want to help change this – that’s why I’m asking you to join me in providing wheelchairs through Joni and Friends. Together, we can change the lives of so many people in developing countries around the world. Teams of occupational and physical therapists volunteering with Joni and Friends, carefully fit each wheelchair to meet the recipient's specific needs. With a wheelchair, children can attend school; adults can obtain employment, attend church, and be a part of their community.
I have set a goal to send 40 wheelchairs by the end of 2015. For everyone who donates at least $150 (the cost for one wheelchair), I will hand-draw a one-of-a-kind doodle and mail it directly to you! Will you help me reach my goal? Please click the ‘Donate’ button on the right to join with me! Thank you for your support!
The picture on this page is of Ebenezer who lives in Uganda. The only way he was able get around was by crawling and dragging his legs. He had never attended school or played with friends. Receiving a wheelchair, which only cost $150, completely changed his life! You can watch his incredible story here: www.joniandfriends.org/ebenezer.
